Vice PresidentMs. Lawson earned a MS in Nursing from USF and obtained her certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix and completed a master’s course in Private Equity at the London Business School. She is a Certified Healthcare Risk Manager in the state of Florida as well as a certified professional coder (CPC).
Ana A. Riddell, CPA, CRB
Managing DirectorAna is currently the Managing Director for Gari Capital, overseeing all facets of operations for the Gari Family Office. Ana graduated from the University of South Florida, majoring in Accounting and later obtaining CPA licensure from the State of Delaware. She has more 20 years of financial accounting experience and a strong healthcare background.
Ian Weitz
Director of IT and Process Improvement, Property ManagerIan has more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology. He has hands on experience with systems integrations, data center creation, virtualization, and implementation of many applications. He has worked in the IT field for sales, healthcare, and financial organizations. He isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and get involved!
Andrew Gibson, CFA
Senior Equity AnalystAndrew has more than 20 years of investment experience. He is a Generalist Analyst for the investment team. Prior to joining Gari Family Office, Andrew was a Senior Equity Research Analyst for Bank of New York Mellon focused in the health sector for mid cap and small cap mutual funds totaling close to $3 billion in assets under management.
Cathy Safreed
Senior AccountantCathy joined Gari Enterprises Investments, LLC in 2012 as the Senior Accountant where she is responsible for the day to day accounting functions of over thirty entities, including real estate properties, the Gari Family Office and Gari Enterprises Investments, LTD, specializing in investment accounting.
Alex Gari
Business AnalystTampa native Alex Gari earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University. His experience includes working at technology startups and healthcare. Alex researches new opportunities for growth, improving processes and using data to provide meaningful insights.
Taylor Gari
HR Business PartnerTaylor Gari was graduated from the University of Chicago in three years with BA degrees in Psychology and Comparative Human Development. Her strong analytical skills and language background translates to effective, detailed, and descriptive content. Taylor loves travel and playing with her dog.
Sonia Velez
Executive AssistantSonia has 30 plus years working as an executive assistant and handles all functions of the Gari Family office from business to personal and primarily handles all his travel and calendar aside from other administrative tasks.
